For the last 15 years, Crossroads has had a simple focus on loving God, loving each other, and loving the world around us. We have developed a rhythm of doing church that cultivates rich faith, a loving community, and active service to our neighborhood and city. It’s about living by faith, being known by love, and being a voice of hope. Here’s how that rhythm gets lived out. Follow the links for more info:
1. Worship Gatherings - Every Sunday we gather together at 10:30am for worship and practical teaching from the Bible.
2. Community Building - Every 6-8 weeks we share a large meal together after the Sunday service. And we have small groups that meet throughout the week for prayer, study, and fellowship.
3. Missional Sundays - In addition to other serving opportunities, every 3 months we spend a Sunday afternoon serving our neighbors together.
We’ve all experienced “bad substitutes.” Non-dairy cheese. Your uncle Eddie refinishing your floors for a “good deal.” Giving your kid any old stuffed animal when he wanted an ELMO. Bad substitutes leave you wanting. They don’t quite give you what you want or need. There are also bad substitutes in our faith. Throughout November and December, we will be studying through the book of Hebrews asking the question, “How can I be sure I have the real thing, and not a bad substitute?”
