For the last 15 years, Crossroads has had a simple focus on loving God, loving each other, and loving the world around us. We have developed a rhythm of doing church that cultivates rich faith, a loving community, and active service to our neighborhood and city. It’s about living by faith, being known by love, and being a voice of hope. Here’s how that rhythm gets lived out. Follow the links for more info:
1. Worship Gatherings - Every Sunday we gather together at 10:30am for worship and practical teaching from the Bible.
2. Community Building - Every 6-8 weeks we share a large meal together after the Sunday service. And we have small groups that meet throughout the week for prayer, study, and fellowship.
3. Missional Sundays - In addition to other serving opportunities, every 3 months we spend a Sunday afternoon serving our neighbors together.
“How does faith intersect with my job?” What kind of question is that? I’m not a missionary or a pastor. I don’t think my vocation is exactly a “holy” calling. I can try to be a light at my job, but there is a limit to what I’m allowed to say or do. I think the best I can do is just punch the clock and make some money so I can fulfill God’s calling OUTSIDE my job.
If any of the above sounds familiar to you, if you've ever wondered what God has to do with your vocation, whether your job matters to Him, or how to integrate faith and work, we would love to have you join us as we ask those questions together. We’ll search God’s word for insight into how God sees our work and how our jobs are actually a part of the larger calling of God.
